What did you do this past week?

This past week I spent most of my week hanging out with my girlfriend and trying to be as productive as possible. This meant doing as many leetcode problems as I can, reading as much as I can, and keeping up with schoolwork.

What’s in your way?

I think once I have my bioinformatics paper published then I will have one less time commitment to worry about. I also think if I could wake up earlier that would benefit me as well. Lastly, I think if I could just get my work done earlier and have more time to devote to my personal projects and I spent less time procrastinating I would be much more productive.

What will you do next week?

This next week I will stick to a better schedule of waking up early and making sure everyday I work on my personal projects, leetcode, read, and do everything else I need to do.

What was your experience of exceptions, types, and operators? (this question will vary, week to week)

My I think exceptions and operations are really great in python and other languages even though I don’t actually find myself using them very much. I guess that’s because I don’t work on serious production level code that often in my spare time. I think the different data structures and data types in python are really simple. I like how they give you a bare bones set upon which you can build. It makes everything really simple.

What made you happy this week?

I feel like I’m a pretty cool dude and as of lately all my social interactions have gone over really smoothly so that makes me happy. I really like feeling like I’m socially competent and able to hold decent conversations with people.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip-of-the-week is to have a night routine and wake up early everyday. By having a night routine and waking up early you force yourself to be accountable at night. This also forces you to be more productive during the day so you can make time for your night routine and seven hours of sleep. Waking up early in the morning is nice. I feel more productive in the morning and more happy.
