1. What did you do this past week?

This past week I spent mainly doing Leetcode. I am recruiting for a full time job this semester so I have to make sure my data structures and algorithms skills are on point!

2. What’s in your way?

Last semester my girlfriend’s roomate moved out so we lived together and it was awesome. We were extremely productive and we had a lot of fun. However, she’s now in a new apartment with a different roomate that is much farther away from my apartment. It’s much harder to get work done there. I think what would be best for me is to just work at my apartment until recruiting is over, but she has a lot of health problems so I feel like it’s my responsibility to take care of her.

3. What will you do next week?

Next week I’m going to stay on that Leetcode grind baby!

4. What was your experience of assertions, Google Test, and gcov? (this question will vary, week to week)

They were similar to what I would expect out of a testing suite. I will probably have to play around with them to remember exactly how they’re used but I have a general understanding of them now.

5. How are you doing and holding up? What’s been most helpful for you in terms of support at this time?

I’m actually doing really well. I have been seriously enjoying quarantining, but I didn’t have many friends before COVID anyways.

6. What made you happy this week?

This week not having a lot on my plate made me really happy. I had plenty of time to cook yummy food, play video games and watch funny shows!

7. What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip-of-the week is to start Leetcoding now. Seriously, I hadn’t done any Leetcode before this year and now I can’t but feel like I wouldn’t be as stressed out if I had just started earlier.
